GPS

1. GPS Positioning

2. Standalone Distance Measurement: After a successful GPS lock, on the GPS interface, you can set a starting point by briefly pressing the Menu key. After walking a certain distance, briefly press the "#" key to obtain the current distance and direction relative to the starting point.

3. Two 880G Devices: Two 880G units can send their respective GPS coordinates to each other via an end-of-transmission tone. The receiving unit will display the distance and direction to the sender.

4. GPS Track Recording and Querying: Latitude and longitude can be recorded manually or at timed intervals. After entering the GPS track record list through the menu or shortcut keys, you can view the coordinates of a specific track point, as well as its distance and direction relative to your current location—useful for locating campsites when camping outdoors.

APRS

1. APRS Hardware Encoding/Decoding: Capable of transmitting the device’s APRS information to other units, and decoding incoming APRS data from other devices. If the received APRS data includes GPS coordinates, the device will also calculate the direction and distance to the other unit.

2. APRS Data Transmission to PC: APRS data can be reported to a PC via a programming cable, allowing users to forward the APRS data through a PC-connected internet network.
